Rani O’Brien’s select credits include Mankind (Boston University), Mahsa’s Last Song (Boston Playwrights’ Festival), Candidate Confessions (The Second City), Modern Chalk Circle (A.N.D.), Oh! The Magical Musical Places You’ll Go (Pacific Symphony), A Midsummer Night’s DreamMachine and Disconnected Touch (Howl! Happening). Milan Eldridge, Stage Manager
Milan Eldridge is a stage manager, filmmaker, and theater designer who is fascinated by the ways these disciplines can interact, inform, and influence each other. She is passionate about exploring real-world themes and events through attentive and inventive storytelling. Select stage management credits include How to Eat an Orange (La MaMa ETC), The Manic Monologues (McCarter Theatre), The Winter’s Tale [Public Works musical adaptation] (Princeton University), Il Trovatore (Boheme Opera NJ), A Survivor’s Odyssey (White Snake Projects). Sanal Leejean, RECORDING drummer
Sanal Leejean is a New York City based musician, hailing from the grasslands of Kalmyk Republic (Indigenous Mongolian just like Sophia), where he was born and spent his formative years as a musician. Sanal chose NYC as his base and permanently moved there. Currently, Sanal performs with crossover thrash metal band called Activator and an alternative metal band called Uncrossing as well as performing with his friends on various occasions, playing anything from tribal drums to experimental electronic pop. Montana Debor, recording violinist
Montana DeBor is a classically trained violinist and composer who loves taking her skills to new heights. She’s been touring internationally as an aerial violinist with circuses for the last 5 years. She was thrilled to meet Sophia while playing at a show in Brooklyn this past fall. Montana is honored to be a part of Sophia’s solo show. IG: @deboratorium
Luna YiXi Wu, Projection Designer
Luna YiXi Wu (she/they) is a video game and XR interactive media creator based in Brooklyn, New York. A graduate of NYU's Tisch School of the Arts with a double major in Game Design and Computer Science, they are currently rocking it as a game and XR developer at Pariah Interactive. Luna has contributed to projects showcased at MoMA, Miami Superblue, and the Tribeca Film Festival, where Kinfolk: Black Lands, an AR educational app highlighting the histories of people of color, won a Special Jury Award in 2023. They also led the development of Best Synthesized Answer by Rindon Johnson, currently on display at the Rockbund Art Museum in Shanghai. Outside of work, Luna creates personal game projects exploring the balance between systems and artistic expression. They are active in New York’s visual jamming scene, collaborating with DJs and performance artists at venues like Trans-Pecos and Rubulad, exploring audio-interactive and text-generated visuals. Luna also plays in the band Thunder/Banana, contributing to Beijing’s underground indie music scene. https://www.lunawoolf.com/
Kevin Dunn, Lighting Designer
Kevin Dunn (they/he) is a lighting designer based in New York CIty. Past design credits include Shakespeare in Love (BU School of Theatre), Wizard of Oz (Wheelock Family Theatre), Queens Girl in the World (Central Square Theatre), Into the Woods (The Barnstormers Theatre), Mansfield Park (BU Opera Institute), and A Small Handful (PTP/NYC). Currently they work as an assistant lighting designer with The Lighting Design Group at CNN’s New York Bureau, as well as assist with designing TV studios across the country and internationally. They have been the recipient of the Don Childs Award for Excellence from the Stagecraft Institute of Las Vegas and an Honorable mention for the KCACTF Barbizon Award for Excellence in Lighting Design at the Kennedy Center in Washington DC. They received a Bachelors of Fine Arts in theatrical design from Salem State University, and their Masters of Fine Arts in lighting design at Boston University. https://kevindunndesign.com/
Boris Nazarov, Sound Designer
Boris Nazarov is a Russian born Armenian , Brooklyn-based composer, musical producer, sound designer, electronic music performer, as well as studio and live recording, and mixing engineer. Boris is a Music Technology master’s degree holder from NYU Steinhardt. Nowadays he is focusing on creating immersive multimedia multi-channel sound installations and improvisation electronic music performance. Miles Mandwelle, Movement Coach
Miles Mandwelle is one of those multi-hyphenate ADD kids. He studied Lecoq movement at Movement Theater Studio, and the Center for Movement Theater with Dody DiSanto. He also played piano for the Commedia Company with Virginia Scott. He is a certified teacher of the Alexander Technique through AmSat.
Catherine Filloux, dramaturg
For the past three decades, French American award-winning playwright and librettist Catherine Filloux has been traveling to conflict areas writing plays that address human rights. Filloux has four produced operas (“Orlando” won the 2022 Grawemeyer Award) and is an activist. She is the book-writer for a new musical with John Daggett and composer Jimmy Roberts. Her new play “How to Eat an Orange” has been commissioned by INTAR in New York City and will premiere next season. www.catherinefilloux.com
Madeline Heeney, Production manager and Co-producer
Madeline Heeney (she/her) is a trans NYC based director, stage manager, and producer. She is a recent graduate from Marymount Manhattan College. There she received her Bachelor of Arts in Theatre Arts with concentrations in Directing and Stage and Production Management. Madeline is the Head of Development and a Resident Artist with Medusa Collective NYC, a production company focused on producing new works by early career theatre makers. Matthew Foster, Assistant Producer & Prop master
Matthew is an award-winning playwright and actor! While he loves being on the stage, his passions follows him backstage as well! His recent work as a playwright, "The Lake", debuted in Lubbock, Texas, which led him to move back to NYC! This will be his first work back in New York! He is a past student ambassador at Playwright Horizons. He is always grateful and affirmed by the beliefs and support of others! Currently studying business and consulting at School of Professional Studies, CUNY, Bachelor of Arts. Allison Aube-Martin, Production Assistant
Allison Aube-Martin is a French-Canadian multidisciplinary artist who discovered her first creative landmarks in Paris, formulated her expression in Montreal and is now settled in New York currently about to graduate from the Stella Adler Studio of Acting three year program. During those years, she was very included in the process of helping with logistics and props/costumes whenever a show was on the run. From publishing her first poetry book in August 2023 entitled “Mind fragments de l’Esprit” to writing and producing her first play “Double Take” on its feet within the “Circle” festival in 2024, she is entirely conscious of the entire process of making one’s own work and is very keen to focus on the tiny details to honour the essence of the production “Those Who Remained”. Jules Miranda, Event Photographer
Jules Miranda is a New York City-based photographer with a passion for capturing moments on film. Originally from New Jersey and of Puerto Rican heritage, she started out as a dancer and singer, studied musical theatre, and has played in multiple bands before finding her way behind the camera. A self-taught photographer, she specializes in film photography, shooting weddings, events, portraits, and live music—anything that tells a story through people. wesley grant, recording sound healer
Wesley Grant is a Sound Healing Practitioner with a lifelong passion for the transformative power of music. Holding an undergraduate degree in Music Composition and Sound Design, Wesley’s journey in the world of sound has been both diverse and rewarding. From crafting immersive soundscapes to healing through harmonies, he believes in the transformative power of sound to uplift and restore. At the peak of the pandemic, Wesley felt a strong urge to start a self- healing journey through stillness, listening, and acceptance. This experience enriched his understanding of vibration and its healing capabilities.
